VADER Open For METALLICA In Poland: Photos Available

Polish death metallers VADER performed in front of 50,000 people as the opening act for SLIPKNOT and METALLICA on May 31 at Silesian Stadium in Chorzów, Poland. "Unfortunately, there were some technical problems, nevertheless they played a pretty successful show, containing a few VADER classics: 'Sothis', 'Wings', 'Epitath', 'Xeper', 'Carnal'," according to a posting on the group's web site. "We would like to thank to all people that made the show possible: Metal Mind Productions, Odyssey Agency, METALLICA's management and musicians. It was a great honor for the band to share the stage with Four Horsemen." Several photos from the gig can be viewed at this location (five pictures at the very top).

VADER recently entered Radio Gdansk Studio with producer Piotr Lukaszewski ("Reign Forever World", "Revelations", "Blood") to begin recording their new album, "The Beast". A fall release through Metal Blade Records is expected.
